SAN MARCOS, CA (January 25, 2024) – Tuesday night, a fatal two-vehicle crash on San Marcos Boulevard near Discovery Street killed one person.

The incident happened at around 6:30 p.m. on San Marcos Boulevard near Discovery Street.

According to Deputy Isaac Padilla, an eastbound SUV crossed into another lane and collided with a Porsche. Then, the force of the crash pushed the SUV to roll over onto its roof.

Moreover, responders rushed the 26-year-old driver of the SUV, to Palomar Medical Center, where the patient was later pronounced dead.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
