1 Person Dead in Oroville Auto Accident on Highway 70 and Montgomery Street

OROVILLE, CA (June 5, 2024) – Tuesday morning, a fatal two-vehicle crash on Highway 70 and Montgomery Street killed one person.

The incident happened at around 10:00 a.m. on Highway 70 and Montgomery Street.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a Ram pickup truck rear-ended a white vehicle for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, officers confirmed that one occupant of the white vehicle died in the collision.

Furthermore, authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified. 

Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
