Highway 119 Fatal Vehicle Crash

 
Taft, CA (November 29, 2021) – On Monday morning, officers responded to a deadly two-truck crash on Highway 119.
 
It was after 9 a.m. when the crash happened east of Elk Hills Road, which involved a three-axel dump truck and a pickup truck.
 
The investigators said the westbound pickup and the eastbound three-axel dump truck crashed with each other.
 
Unfortunately, the pickup truck driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
Luckily, the dump truck driver did not suffer serious injury.
 
Meanwhile, the officers closed Highway 119 between Elk Hills Road and Airport Road as they investigated the fatal crash.
