1 Killed in Hesperia Train Crash on Santa Fe Avenue
HESPERIA, CA (May 11, 2020) – On Saturday afternoon, a fatal train accident occurred on Santa Fe Avenue in Hesperia, the police reported.
According to reports, the incident occurred at around 4:52 p.m. on May 9 on Santa Fe Avenue and Lime Street.
The San Bernardino County Firefighters, along with deputies from the Hesperia sheriff’s station, arrived on the scene after receiving a report of a person who was possibly hit by a train.
When the emergency responders came at the scene, they found a male pedestrian’s body, and declared him dead at the scene.
Due to the crash, BNSF suspended train traffic through the area while the authorities investigate.
