Ramona, CA (February 9, 2024) On Thursday afternoon, a person was pronounced dead after a fatal traffic crash on San Vicente Road east of Barnett Ranch County Preserve in Ramona.

According to the CHP, the deadly collision happened around 4:45 p.m. in the 22800 block of San Vicente Road, east of Wildcat Canyon Road.

The CHP blocked traffic in the area.

Authorities are investigating the deadly collision and have not released further information at this time.
