Fatal Traffic Crash on Brookhurst Street Claims a Life [Garden Grove, CA]

Garden Grove, CA (July 19, 2024) On Wednesday evening, a male pedestrian was killed in a traffic crash on Brookhurst Street.

According to the Garden Grove Police Department (GGPD), the fatal auto-pedestrian crash happened at about 11:1 p.m. on the 14300 block of Brookhurst Street.

Reports say that a gray 2022 Toyota Sienna, driven by a 58-year-old Santa Ana woman, fatally struck the man.

Officials pronounced the male pedestrian dead at the scene. Authorities say that the female driver stayed at the scene and was not showing signs of impairment.

GGPD is investigating the fatal pedestrian accident and have not released additional information at this time.
