1 Killed and 1 Injured Buena Park Three-Vehicle Collision near Stanton Avenue
BUENA PARK, CA (April 16, 2020) – Early Tuesday morning, a three-vehicle crash killed a person and injured another on La Palma Avenue.
According to the Buena Park Police, they first received a report of the collision around 5:58 a.m., in the La Palma Avenue and Stanton Avenue intersection.
Authorities confirmed that the crash was between a Honda and two vehicles. For reasons still unknown, one of the drivers failed to yield at a red light at the intersection.
As a result of the impact, the Honda driver was declared dead at the scene. Meanwhile, emergency personnel treated one person at the scene. However, they have since been released.
The surrounding area on La Palma Avenue was closed off for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. However, the roadway has since reopened to traffic.
