Fatal Tanker Truck Crash on 6500 North Canoga Avenue [Canoga Park, CA]

Fiery Collision on 6500 North Canoga Avenue Kills One

Canoga Park, CA (January 15, 2022) – On Friday, a person sustained fatal injuries in a tanker truck crash on 6500 North Canoga Avenue.

The firefighters responded to the crash scene at approximately 1 a.m. near Victory Boulevard.

Officers said a tanker truck collided with a vehicle and burst into flames.

 As a result, it spilled an estimated 1,000 gallons of fuel and careened into a fountain in Canoga Park.

Unfortunately, the occupant of the vehicle died at the scene.

Moreover, private contractors also responded to the scene to remove the tanker truck and clear the area.

Officers are investigating the crash on 6500 North Canoga Avenue.
