1 Person Dead in Nassau Bay Auto Accident on Saturn Lane and Space Park Drive

NASSAU BAY, TX (August 20, 2024) – Sunday morning, a fatal single-vehicle crash on Saturn Lane and Space Park Drive killed one person.

Reports said that the incident happened at around 8:45 a.m. at the intersection of Saturn Lane and Space Park Drive.

According to the Nassau Bay Police Department, a southbound black Toyota sedan failed to stop and crashed into a concrete bench in the town square area in front of the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel.

Moreover, responders rushed the 93-year-old male driver of the vehicle and his 89-year-old female passenger to a hospital where the passenger was later pronounced dead.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Nassau Bay Police Department continued investigating the crash.
