SACRAMENTO, CA (February 11, 2020) – Early Friday evening, a person was killed in a pedestrian crash on Rio Linda Boulevard.
 
The incident occurred around 6:10 p.m., on Rio Linda Boulevard and Las Palmas Avenue. The Sacramento Police Department arrived shortly after receiving multiple dispatch calls.
 
Upon arrival, paramedics took the pedestrian to a nearby hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. Meanwhile, the involved driver was cooperative with the investigation.
 
The surrounding area on Rio Linda Boulevard was closed off for a brief time during the initial investigation. No further information has been released to the public at this time. However, more information will be released once available.
