SAN CARLOS, TX (March 24, 2024) – Saturday morning, a fatal pedestrian crash on State Highway 107 near 84th Street killed one person.

The incident happened at around 6:13 a.m. along State Highway 107 near 84th Street.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, an eastbound red/maroon passenger car struck a male pedestrian who was crossing the street. Then, the vehicle fled the scene of the crash after the collision.

Moreover, officers confirmed that the victim died in the incident.

Furthermore, authorities said that the hit-and-run vehicle is best described as a 1997 to 2002 red/maroon Ford Escort.
