LONG BEACH, CA (January 9, 2024) – Sunday night, a fatal pedestrian crash on Pacific Coast Highway and Cherry Avenue killed one person.

The incident happened at around 8:10 p.m. on Pacific Coast Highway and Cherry Avenue.

According to the Long Beach Police Department, a vehicle struck a female pedestrian who was crossing PCH outside a marked crosswalk. Then, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.

Moreover, responders pronounced the victim, dead at the scene.
