OLYMPIA, WA (March 5, 2023) – Friday night, authorities arrested a driver after a fatal pedestrian crash on Case Road Southwest.
 
The incident happened at around 9:30 p.m. in the 10900 block of Case Road Southwest.
 
According to reports, a vehicle struck a male pedestrian for still unknown reasons. Then, the driver of the vehicle moved the victim’s body to a nearby residence. Also, the suspect called acquaintances instead of 911 after the incident.
 
Moreover, officers confirmed that the victim died at the scene.
 
Furthermore, authorities arrested and booked the suspect into the Thurston County Jail for first-degree manslaughter and tampering with physical evidence.
