DALLAS, TX (February 21, 2024) – Tuesday afternoon, a fatal pedestrian crash on 8300 Spring Valley Road killed two people.

The incident happened at around 4:00 p.m. in the 8300 block of Spring Valley Road.

According to the Dallas Police, an unidentified vehicle struck a woman and a child for still unknown reasons.

Responders rushed the two victims to a local hospital, where they were later pronounced dead.

Officers said that the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
