LUBBOCK, TX (November 20, 2024) – Tuesday night, a fatal pedestrian crash on 4000 Idalou Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 7:30 p.m. in the 4000 block of Idalou Road.

According to the Lubbock Police Department, a car struck two pedestrians for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, authorities confirmed that one person died in the crash. Then, responders transported one person to UMC with moderate injuries.

Furthermore, the crash closed Idalou Road in both directions but has long since reopened.
