HOLLYWOOD, CA (October 16, 2024) – Tuesday morning, a fatal pedestrian crash on 101 Freeway near Vermont Avenue killed one person.

The incident happened around 6:00 a.m. on the northbound Hollywood (101) Freeway, north of Vermont Avenue.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle struck a male pedestrian for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders pronounced the man, dead at the scene.

Furthermore, the crash closed two northbound lanes of 101 Freeway but has long since reopened.
