IRVINE, CA (August 11, 2024) – Friday morning, a fatal pedestrian crash near Jamboree Road and Barranca Parkway killed one person.

The incident happened at around 12:45 a.m. near the intersection of Jamboree Road and Barranca Parkway.

According to the Irvine Police Department, a 2017 Lexus sedan struck a male pedestrian who was sitting in the northbound lanes of Jamboree Road for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders pronounced the pedestrian, dead at the scene.
