SACRAMENTO, CA (September 10, 2024) – Monday morning, a fatal pedestrian crash near Banfield Drive and Club Center Drive killed one person.

The incident happened at around 8:30 a.m. near Banfield Drive and Club Center Drive.

According to the Sacramento Police Department, a Sacramento Regional Transit District shuttle bus struck a pedestrian for still unknown reasons.

Authorities confirmed that the male pedestrian died in the crash.

Officers said that the driver of the bus remained at the scene to cooperate with the investigation.
