SEATTLE, WA (August 8, 2019) – A person died in a pedestrian accident on Martin Luther King Jr Way on August 6.
 
The incident occurred at about 7:30 a.m. on Martin Luther King Jr Way South and South Alaska Street.
 
According to reports, an SUV involved in a collision overturned and hit a woman walking in the area. The woman got stuck under the SUV and died at the scene, Seattle Police revealed.
 
Detectives do not suspect drugs or alcohol intoxication as a factor in the collision.
