Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 80 [Fairfield, CA]

Fairfield, CA (August 04, 2022) – On Thursday, a person sustained fatal injuries in a pedestrian accident on Interstate 80.

The fatal collision took place at around 1:50 a.m. near W Texas Street. 

According to the authorities, the victim was struck on the eastbound freeway and was tossed into a westbound lane.

Sadly, the pedestrian did not survive the accident.

Both of the drivers involved remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

In the meantime, the fatal incident remains under investigation. Officers say drugs or alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
