Turlock Pedestrian Accident on Highway 99 Turns Deadly

 
TURLOCK, CA (October 3, 2019) – A person died Tuesday night in a pedestrian accident on Highway 99 at Lander Avenue in Turlock.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a truck hit the pedestrian at about 11:00 p.m. The officers said the pedestrian was on the freeway when the incident occurred.
 
The pedestrian died in the collision. On the other hand, the truck driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
 
Meantime, the authorities closed both directions of Highway 99 until Wednesday early morning as they investigated.
