1 Dead in Sacramento Pedestrian Accident on 5 Freeway
SACRAMENTO, CA (March 27, 2020) – On March 25, a fatal pedestrian accident occurred on the 5 Freeway and Florin Road in Sacramento.
According to the California Highway Patrol, whose currently handling the crash investigation, the incident occurred before 10:30 p.m. in the northbound lanes of the 5 Freeway at Florin Road.
The police report furthermore revealed that a vehicle struck and killed a victim who was reportedly walking in the area.
As a result, the authorities declared the pedestrian dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the authorities have yet to disclose the identity of the victim due to pending family notification.
As of this time, there is no additional information about the motorist involved in the crash.
The authorities are still actively investigating the fatal pedestrian accident.
