1 Person Dead in Santa Clarita Auto Accident on 14 Freeway and Newhall Avenue

SANTA CLARITA, CA (December 25, 2023) – Sunday morning, a fatal multi-vehicle crash on 14 Freeway and Newhall Avenue killed one person.

The incident happened at around 1:35 a.m. on the southbound Antelope Valley (14) Freeway at Newhall Avenue.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident involved a white Chevy Camaro and at least two other vehicles.

Moreover, officers confirmed that one person died in the crash. Then, paramedics rushed one person to a hospital with unknown injuries.

Furthermore, the crash closed the Nos. 2, 3, and 4 lanes of the southbound freeway, but has long since reopened.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
