1 Person Dead in Ridgecrest Motorcycle Accident on South Sunland Street and East Bowman Road

RIDGECREST, CA (May 22, 2024) – On Friday, a fatal motorcycle crash on South Sunland Street and East Bowman Road killed one person.

The incident happened at the intersection of South Sunland Street and East Bowman Road.

According to the Ridgecrest Police Department, a northbound motorcyclist failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a westbound vehicle.

Moreover, responders rushed the male motorcyclist to Ridgecrest Regional Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Furthermore, officers confirmed that the motorcyclist was a student of the Sierra Sands Unified School District.
