1 Person Dead in Wynola Motorcycle Accident
WYNOLA, CA (July 30, 2024) – Sunday morning, a fatal motorcycle crash in Wynola killed a 66-year-old man.
The incident happened at around 10:30 a.m.
According to the California Highway Patrol, an eastbound 2020 Harley-Davidson Low Rider veered into the westbound lane for still unknown reasons and sideswiped a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado towing a trailer. Then, a second Harley-Davidson attempted to avoid collision with the first motorcyclist and crashed into the pickup truck.
Moreover, authorities confirmed that the 66-year-old male driver of the first motorcycle, dead, while being transported to a hospital. Then, paramedics rushed the 55-year-old male rider of the second motorcycle to Palomar Medical Center with severe injuries.
Furthermore, authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
