1 Dead in San Diego Motorcycle Accident on Cole Grade Road
SAN DIEGO, CA (January 7, 2020) – A person died in a motorcycle accident on Cole Grade Road near Casino Pauma on January 6.
According to reports, the rider attempted to drove past a construction vehicle in a road-work zone on Cole Grade Road in Pauma Valley. However, he lost control of his Honda two-wheeler around 6:45 a.m. He then crashed into a parked truck near Spring Valley Road.
Medical responders flew the motorcyclist to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido for treatment of “massive” head trauma, CHP public-affairs Officer Kevin Smale revealed.
The incident closed the two-lane road in the area for around 45 minutes.
