HAYWARD, CA (October 7, 2024) – Sunday morning, a fatal hit-and-run crash on Highway 84 near South Paseo Parkway killed one person.

The incident happened at around 5:41 a.m. on westbound Highway 84, just east of South Paseo Parkway.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a gray Dodge Charger struck a homeless person and then fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

Moreover, authorities confirmed that the victim died in the crash.

Furthermore, officers managed to locate the address where the car was registered, but no arrest was announced as of this moment.
