Fatal Head-On Crash on Highway 12 Injures 6 People [Walla Walla County, WA]

Walla Walla County, WA (November 15, 2023) On Monday evening, a minivan driver was killed while 6 other people were hurt in a head-on crash on Highway 12.

According to WSP, the multi-vehicle collision happened around 9 p.m. on W Highway 12, 18 miles east of Pasco city limits.

Reports say that the driver of a minivan attempted to pass a car on W 12 Oasis Rd when the driver hit another car head-on. Moreover, a 3rd vehicle crashed from behind.

Officials say that a 22-year-old woman and a 2-year-old boy in the car that struck suffered injuries and were taken to the hospital.

Meanwhile, the minivan driver died at the scene, while 4 male passengers, between the ages of 18 and 23, were also hurt and transported to the hospital.

Officials say that the 3rd driver escaped injuries.

Authorities are investigating the fatal multi-vehicle collision and have not released additional information at this time.
