2 People Dead in Bakersfield Auto Accident on Buena Vista Boulevard near Adobe Road

BAKERSFIELD, CA (July 23, 2024) – Early Saturday morning, a fatal head-on crash on Buena Vista Boulevard near Adobe Road killed two people.

The incident happened at around 1:59 a.m. on Buena Vista Boulevard, west of Adobe Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, an eastbound Chevrolet Tahoe collided head-on with a westbound Chevrolet Silverado.

Paramedics pronounced the 52-year-old male driver of the Tahoe and the 45-year-old male driver of the Silverado, dead at the scene. Then, paramedics rushed the 39-year-old male passenger of the Tahoe to a hospital with unknown injuries.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the CHP continued to investigate the crash.
