Deadly Ritzville Car Crash on Highway 261

 
RITZVILLE, WA (February 6, 2020) – An unidentified victim was killed in a car crash on Highway 261 near Ritzville, on Tuesday.
 
According to reports, the head-on crash occurred on Highway 261, just five miles south of Ritzville. First responders arrived to the area shortly after.
 
Trooper J. Sevigney later revealed that the crash involved a car and a semi-truck. However, the events leading up to the collision are currently unclear.
 
Moreover, the incident shut down Highway 261 at 90 Freeway and Highway 26 during the initial investigation. However, the roadway has since reopened to traffic.
 
In addition, the identities of those involved were not disclosed. Further information will be released to the public once available.
