Man Dies in Solo Car Crash in Whittier
WHITTIER, CA (July 28, 2019) – Sunday morning, a man was killed in a fatal car accident on Whittier Boulevard.
Officials reported the crash occurred at 12:50 AM just outside Praise Chapel Whittier. According to police, a vehicle had slammed into a pole. As a result, the car split into three pieces.
Medics arrived shortly after. The victim was the sole occupant in the vehicle. Due to the collision, the man was partially ejected from the car. He succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. However, his identity has yet to be released.
In addition, police shut down the area near the collision for a period of time. It has since been reopened.
There has been no further information released to the public. The crash is still under investigation.
