Fatal Car Accident on Jackson Avenue and 10th Avenue [Fresno, CA]

1 Killed and 1 Injured in Fresno Car Accident on Jackson Avenue

 
FRESNO, CA (August 8, 2019) – A man died while another suffered injuries in a car accident on Jackson Avenue on August 6.
 
According to CHP, a man driving west on Jackson Avenue in a 1995 Chevy Astro crashed through a stop sign. After that, he struck a northbound Chevy pickup truck on 10th Avenue just before 2:30 p.m.
 
The two involved cars collided l into the shoulder of the road. Meanwhile, the Chevy pickup hit a power pole which led to a power outage in the area.
 
Responders transported the Chevy Astro driver to the hospital where he succumbed from his injuries. Moreover, the 47-year-old driver of the pickup went to Kaweah Delta Medical Center with moderate injuries.
