1 Killed in Ben Lomond Car Accident on Highway 9
BEN LOMOND, CA (August 28, 2019) – A man died in a fiery car accident on Highway 9 on August 25.
According to reports, a 56-year-old man from Watsonville drove north on Highway 9 near Highlands County Park after 6:00 a.m. His vehicle drove across oncoming traffic and collided with a vehicle traveling south.
Some concerned citizens freed the man from his burning car. Responders transported him to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center where he died.
Meanwhile, the driver of the other vehicle, a 36-year-old Boulder Creek woman, didn’t want any medical treatment for her minor injuries.
