3 Killed Olancha Car Accident on Highway 395

 
OLANCHA, CA (July 11, 2019) – Three people died in a fatal car accident on Highway 395 on July 7.
 
CHP reports revealed that a northbound white Dodge pickup driver traveled on Highway 395 just north of Highway 190. For unknown reasons, the driver drove off the road onto the northbound right shoulder, where he lost control of the vehicle.
 
The pickup then went out of control into the northbound lane. Afterward, the vehicle went into the path of a southbound black Ford pickup ton Highway 395.
 
The two vehicles crashed in the southbound lane of Highway 395. The Olancha Fire Department, Lone Pine Fire Department, CHP, and Inyo County Sheriff’s Department all came to the area. They administered medical aid and transported several parties from the crash scene.
 
The people sustained fatal injuries due to the car accident.
 
The Bishop CHP Office is currently investigating the cause of the incident.
