Fatal Car Accident on Highway 26 [Royal City, WA]

1 Killed in Royal City Car Accident

 
ROYAL CITY, WA (December 12, 2018) – A person succumbed to death following a collision near Royal City in Grant County on December 10.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision occurred when a car drove across the center lines and struck a semi-truck traveling on the other direction. As a result, a person was thrown off from the vehicle.
 
The incident was on Highway 26, about 10 miles west of Royal City. Washington State Patrol also revealed that the road in the area was bare and wet with light fog.
 
The semi-truck driver sustained injuries and was transported to a hospital in Othello.
