1 Person Dead in San Francisco Bicycle Accident on Highway 101 near Silver Avenue
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (December 23, 2024) – Saturday morning, a fatal bicycle crash on Highway 101 near Silver Avenue injured one person.
The incident happened along southbound Highway 101 near the Silver Avenue off-ramp.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a southbound Chevy Tahoe struck a bicyclist for still unknown reasons.
Moreover, authorities confirmed that the bicyclist, a man between 30–35 years old, died in the crash.
Furthermore, the crash blocked multiple lanes of southbound Highway 101 but has long since reopened.
