1 Person Dead in San Diego Auto Accident on Evergreen Street and Cañon Street
SAN DIEGO, CA (September 23, 2024) – Saturday afternoon, a fatal bicycle crash on Evergreen Street and Cañon Street killed one person.
The incident happened at around 2:38 p.m. on Evergreen Street and Cañon Street.
According to the San Diego Police Department, an eastbound bicyclist struck the right-side door of a Chevy Volt that turned left into the path of the bicyclist.
Moreover, responders rushed the 70-year-old bicyclist to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Furthermore, authorities said that the 92-year-old female driver of the vehicle was not hurt in the incident.
