Woman Fatally Struck by SUV on State Route 7 Near Spanaway
Pierce County, WA (October 3, 2024) On Monday morning, a woman was declared dead after a horrific auto-Pedestrian Crash on SR 7.
According to the Washington State Department of Transportation (DOT), the deadly crash happened at about 4:19 a.m. on State Route 7 near 208th Street East.
Reports say that a woman lost her life after being hit by an SUV on state Route 7 near 208th Street East, close to Spanaway.
A 74-year-old man from Eatonville was driving his 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer northbound when he struck the pedestrian, who was in the roadway around 4:19 a.m.
The driver immediately reported the incident to 911.
Unfortunately, the woman died at the scene. The northbound lanes of State Route 7 were closed for the investigation but reopened by 7:44 a.m.
