Injuries Reported in Deadly 2-Car Crash on Highway 156
Hollister, CA (May 6, 2023) On Friday morning, a 2-vehicle crash on Highway 25 left a man dead and 2 others injured.
CHP says that the crash involving a 2013 Ram 2500 and a 2013 Toyota Corolla happened around 5:25 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 25 and Highway 156.
Reports say that the deadly 2-car crash left a 31-year-old male driver from Salinas dead. Officials say that the man died at Hazel Hawkins Hospital due to major injuries sustained in the collision.
Meanwhile, a 31-year-old female passenger from Salinas was transported to the hospital with multiple injuries, while the driver of the Ram complained of minor chest pain.
Authorities have not released the probable cause of the 2-vehicle crash, it is currently not revealed if alcohol or drugs played a factor in the crash.
CHP is investigating the 2-car crash.
