1 Person Dead in Amarillo Auto Accident on East Amarillo Boulevard and Folsom Road

AMARILLO, TX (April 25, 2024) – Wednesday morning, a fatal 2-vehicle crash on East Amarillo Boulevard and Folsom Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 6:54 a.m. on East Amarillo Boulevard and Folsom Road.

According to reports, a westbound tan Chevrolet pickup collided with a commercial vehicle truck and trailer that was carrying a base to a wind turbine.

Paramedics pronounced the Chevrolet driver, dead at the scene.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Amarillo Police Department Traffic Investigation Unit continued to investigate the crash.
