Farm Worker Dies in Rollover Collision on Fowler Avenue [Fowler, CA]

Fowler, CA (April 15, 2022) On Friday, a farm worker was killed in a 2-vehicle rollover collision on Fowler Avenue Lincoln Avenue.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) says a silver Chevy Astro Van failed to stop at a stop sign collided with a GMC Terrain traveling south on around 6:40 p.m.

Officers say that the van was carrying 8 farm workers inside. The collision caused the van to roll over.

A worker was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other 7 sustained minor to moderate injuries.

Moreover, authorities say that the deceased worker was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Authorities have not released a name at the moment.

Authorities closed part of Fowler Avenue during the morning.
