35-Year-Old Anza Motorcyclist Hospitalized after Crash near Macadamia Drive
FALLBROOK, CA (April 25, 2018) – A motorcycle collision on E Mission Street sent a motorcyclist to the hospital with serious injuries, early Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 6 AM. A 20-year-old Hemet resident was heading west on E Mission Road in a 2015 Kia Optima when the vehicle veered off the lane and crossed the double yellow lines, where it colliding head-on with a 2017 Harley Davidson Softail motorcycle.
The impact of the collision ejected the rider, a 35-year-old Anza resident, from his motorcycle into on a ditch on the shoulder of the road. Paramedics rushed the victim to Palomar Medical Center, where he was last listed under critical condition.
Authorities are still investigating the case and have not released the identities of the people involved in the accident. There is no additional information available at this time.
