31-year-old Eynelys Gonzalez Garcia Fatally Struck in California City

California City, CA (October 16, 2021) – On Thursday, 31-year-old Eynelys Gonzalez Garcia of California City dies in a hit-and-run crash on Shaw Street.

The authorities responded to the crash scene at around 7:45 p.m. at the intersection with Karen Avenue.

When they arrived, they found the victim unresponsive in the roadway.

They immediately attempted life-saving measures, however,  Garcia died at the scene.

According to the witnesses, officers determined Garcia was hit by a vehicle while walking.

Moreover, officers arrested the driver, and later booked at the Kern County Jail for felony hit and run charge
