EXETER, CA – One Killed in 2-Car Crash on Highway 198 near Highway 65

Morning 2-Car Wreck on Highway 198 in Exeter Ends in Fatality

 
EXETER, CA (January 31, 2019) – At least one person was killed following a two-car crash Thursday morning in Tulare County, the California Highway Patrol reported.
 
The fatal crash happened around 7:44 a.m. near the intersection of Highway 198 and Highway 65.
 
CHP officials said that a Chevrolet Yukon SUV and a Honda Pilot collided. The Chevrolet overturned and landed on its side due to severe impact.
 
Firefighters along with paramedics responded to the scene and found at least one fatality as a result the accident. The identity of the victim has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.
 
It is unknown if speed, drugs and/or alcohol were contributing factors in the crash. The incident is still under investigation.
