Tyler, TX (March 19, 2024) On Monday morning, 79-year-old Evencio Arellano died in a disastrous pedestrian crash on West Front Street.
According to Tyler PD, the deadly auto-pedestrian crash happened at about 11:30 a.m. at West Front Street and Peach Avenue.
Reports say that a vehicle fatally struck Arellano, police pronounced the male pedestrian dead at the scene due to the injuries.
Authorities say that the driver stayed at the scene.
Police are investigating the fatal pedestrian crash and have not released additional details about the incident.
