RIVERSIDE, CA (April 24, 2022) – Saturday morning, Eva Lopez Gonzalez and Antral Thomas died in a crash on 60 Freeway.
 
The head-on collision happened at around 3:30 a.m. on 60 Freeway, east of Gilman Springs Road.
 
28-year-old Eva Gonzalez of Hemet drove a Hyundai Sonata east in the freeway’s westbound lanes at 90 mph. Then, her car crashed with a Chevy Malibu.
 
As a result, both cars sustained front-end damage.
 
Meanwhile, the Chevy’s driver 49-year-old Antral Thomas, and a male passenger were headed from Palm Springs to Pico Rivera.
 
Moreover, officers declared Thomas and Lopez dead at the scene. Meanwhile, responders took the 40-year-old Chevy passenger to a hospital with moderate injuries.
