Possible Medical Issue Causes Deadly Crash on Highway 3 in Etna

 
ETNA, CA (December 11, 2018) – At least one person was killed following a traffic accident Tuesday morning in Etna, the California Highway Patrol reported.
 
The fatal crash happened around 9:48 a.m. on Highway 3 at Kellems Lane.
 
CHP officials said that an unknown vehicle had crashed into a pine tree and smoke were seen in the area.
 
Law enforcement along with paramedics arrived and found at least one fatality as a result of the crash. The identity of the victim has not yet been released pending next of kin notification.
 
An initial log indicated that the driver of the vehicle had possible medical issue resulting to the fatal accident.
