Melissa Contreras Arrested after Hanford Bicycle Accident in W Sixth Street and S Phillips Street
HANFORD, CA (February 14, 2023) – Wednesday afternoon, Ethan Valdez suffered injuries in a hit-and-run crash on W Sixth Street and S Phillips Street.
The incident happened on W Sixth Street and S Phillips Street.
According to reports, the crash involved a vehicle and a bicyclist.
When the officers arrived, they located the 18-year-old Hanford resident Ethan Valdez in the roadway with moderate injuries to his lower body. Then, responders took him to the hospital.

Moreover, officers identified the driver as 25-year-old Melissa Contreras out of Lemoore, California.
Officers then interviewed and booked Melissa Contreras into the Kings County Jail on suspicion of hit and run resulting in death or injury.
