Bicyclist Esteban Zuniga Dies Struck and Killed in Accident on Highway 101
Arroyo Grande, CA (December 3, 2020) – Thursday afternoon, bicyclist Esteban Zuniga died in a vehicle crash on Highway 101.
The Arroyo Grande fatal crash happened at around 2:20 p.m on December 3, north of the East Grand Avenue off-ramp.
Reports say a bicyclist rode onto southbound Highway 101 and was attempting to cross both lanes when the Grover Beach man was struck by a vehicle.
Police identified the vehicle as a 2016 Honda Accord, driven by a 28-year-old Santa Maria man.
Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors in this incident.
No other information is immediately available.
Ultimately, the investigation on the Highway 101 accident is on-going.
