Esteban Sanchez Jr. Dead, Another Driver Injured Following Bakersfield Accident on Panama Lane

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (November 30, 2020) – On Sunday, 19-year-old Esteban Sanchez Jr. died in a car crash along Panama Lane and Highway 43.
 
Moreover, the fatal accident occurred in the early morning, around 2:30 AM, according to CHP.
 
In later reports, it appears that Mr. Sanchez veered from the roadway.
 
As a result, his 2006 Toyota Corolla overturned in the eastbound lane at Panama Lane and Highway 43.
 
Shortly after, a 21-year-old man, driving a 2017 Toyota Camry, crashed into Esteban’s car, with Esteban still in the vehicle.
 
Upon news of the accident, emergency responders arrived to the scene to provide aid to the parties involved.
 
Subsequently, medics found Sanchez Jr. unresponsive, and pronounced him dead at the scene.
 
Furthermore, the California Highway patrol noted that the 21-year-old was taken to Kern Medical with major injuries.
 
Police say that neither alcohol or drugs seem to be factors in the collision.
